Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year

No matter how much good we may do, or how many presents we give away this Christmas, we can never out give God. We may give the finest gifts, send out hundreds of cards and spend a lot of time celebrating with family and friends, but nothing comes close to the gift God has given us.

His gift was not an inanimate object or some valueless object that would lose value over time, His gift was precious and eternal, one that would never perish or lose value over time.

What made this gift so special was that it was a living gift, a gift full of promise, hope, joy, and salvation. This gift was His Son, Jesus Christ, THE LIVING CHRISTMAS CARD, who came to show Gods love and to seek and save all of us who were lost.

So, like any gift, once it is presented to you there are only two things you can do with it, keep it and hold it dear to your heart, or reject it and return it back to the sender, almighty God.

All of us at Joy in Life wish you and your families a glorious Christmas and renewed optimism in the coming New Year. You are always in our hearts.

God Bless & Love Always.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.  Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger. “Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,” Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” Luke 2:8-14
