Word 4 Today November 25, 2011

Every person will face a judgment day.  You may ask, “What about people who will never hear about Jesus?” or “Would God really send an ignorant person to hell?”  In other words, how can it be fair to condemn those who have never heard about Jesus?  Well, first of all, God is not limited.  While many still have no Scriptures in their language, God always reaches the hearts of those who are open to knowing Him.  In the Old Testament, God spoke to many people, such as Abraham and Moses, who had no spiritual training or Scriptures.  And it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” (Heb. 9:27).

Heavenly Father, help us give those who are without hope just a little glimmer of it.  Lord, use us in ways that are not normal and natural in this world.  Let us be as kind and as caring as possible, and allow us to show compassion and mercy whenever necessary.  Let our love be a reflection of Your great love toward us.  Lord, let us remember that although You have so many ways to get our attention, we only have one way to get Yours.

God will get our attention, one way or another.
