God wants to bless us and meet all of our needs. Some people feel that in order to be spiritual they have to be poor. Others think that if we are spiritual we will become rich. Both of these ways of thinking are extremes. The promises of God are for every need to be met and for us as individuals to be blessed and prosper in the Lord. Look, some of you have been entrusted with great resources to serve the Lord, however; the Bible also contains many suggestions regarding poverty, riches, giving, prosperity, and abundance. The one thing that is certain is our loving Father knows exactly what we need at exactly the right moment. He will never leave you or let you down. “I have been young, and now I am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken. Nor his descendants begging bread…” Psalm 37:25
PRAYER 4 TODAY
“But this I say; He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have abundance for every good work.” 2 Corinthians: 9:6-8

Why is it so hard for us to do so little, when God has done so much?
