{Favor of God Def: God’s protective covering}

Matthew 7:7-8  – “Ask, and it will be given to you; Seek, and you will find; Knock, and it will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”… (ASK)

In reading this verse we can clearly see what we, as believers need to do in order to receive all of God’s promises.  In order to live a fruitful and victorious life we can only be limited by our lack of understanding of who God is. In other words, we can limit the blessings, or the {F.O.G.} – favor of God.  As Christians we need to go into each day with an attitude of expectancy based on God’s promises.  God loves and blesses, that’s who He is and what He enjoys doing.  He wants to enable you to succeed in all that you do.

Lord, I must be confident in the knowledge that You are behind me 100% today.  Your goal is to make us more productive, bolder, wiser, more loving, kind, merciful and gentle.  Everything You do is for our good and so is everything You don’t do.  Therefore let us be grateful today and content with what we have been given.  May we always believe You have our best interests at heart.

… you do not have because you do not ask.  James 4:2
