There is something about childlike faith, humility and trust in God that always results in the favor of God accompanied by tremendous blessing.  A mother and her little boy were at the checkout counter in the grocery store.  The owner noticed the child so he came to the counter with a big bowl of candy.  He said, “Son why don’t you put your hand in here and take some candy.”  The little boy replied, “No thanks.”  The owner then said, “Son everybody likes candy, go ahead get a handful.”  The little boy again said, “No thanks.”  The owner asked him one more time but this time the little boy replied, “You give it to me” and with a big smile on his face he opened up both hands, put them together and the owner filled them with candy.  When they got to the car the mother said, “Son what was wrong, the man was so nice, why didn’t you take the candy?”  The little boy looked at his mother, shook his head and said, “Because my hands are small but his hands, well, his hands are much bigger than mine.”

“Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.  Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 18:3-4

It’s that way with God.  He has big hands and wants to bless us if we would just humbly put out our little hands and ask our Heavenly Father to bless us and pour His favor out upon us and others.  May God richly bless each and every one of you and grant you all of the goodness a loving and heavenly Father is willing to bestow to those who come to him with childlike faith.

One undeniable truth… Jesus loves YOU!
