Word 4 Today June 29, 2011

How can you prove to yourself that life is fundamentally an inward attitude?  Just try to remember what troubled you most a week ago, you probably will find it difficult to remember.  Why then should you needlessly fret over the problems that arise today?  Your attitude can be changed, by putting yourself and your problems in God’s hands and trusting Him to see that everything will turn out all right, provided you are trying to do the right thing.  Your changed mental attitude towards your problems relieves you of their burden and you can face them without fear.

“Have I not commanded you?  Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”  Joshua 1:9

Oh Lord, teach me to put all things in your hands and leave them there.  It’s true most things that disturbed me greatly at the moment were forgotten quickly.  May I stop making a big deal out of nothing and totally learn to lean on and depend only on You.

If God be for us-what’s the problem?
