Word 4 Today June 10, 2011

Do you ever wonder how some people manage to draw large sums of money from a bank for some emergency?  What you don’t see are the countless small sums paid into that bank, earned by faithful work over a long period of time.  Well it’s the same with the bank of the Spirit.  People of faith make demands on God’s stores of power and the demands are met.  Why? Because they invested a little thanks, a little praise, a little prayer, a few moments of quiet communion, and small good deeds done faithfully over a period of years.  And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.  Galatians 6:9

Oh sometimes I wonder how I manage.  Where does all of this grace come from?  Maybe it is from all of the little investments I have made throughout my life, the good deed, or the helping hand.  I don’t know, I don’t really keep track but something is at work in my favor today.

A little investment with God, goes a looooooong way.
