We are spiritual beings who have been given a soul, which is comprised of our mind, our will, and our emotions.  Our lives have been given to us mainly for the purpose of training our souls.  This life we live is not as much for the body as it is for the soul.  We most often choose the way of life that best suits our body, not the way that best suits our soul.  God wants us to choose what best suits the soul as well as the body.  Our soul is being shaped by the good that we do.  Reject doing good and God’s purpose for our lives becomes frustrated.  However, if we accept the training of our souls a wonderful molding of character will result.  “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”  Luke 12:15

The greatest possession I have is You.  Let me never look at what You have to give more than I look for Your face and presence.  May my soul be filled with Your Spirit and my life with Your blessings.

You’ll never find true satisfaction without soul training.
