Word 4 Today April 21, 2011

Many of you may be wondering why I have deviated from the normal Word 4 Today Devotionals.  God just put it in my heart to let you know how much He loves you.  It is so important to know who you are in Christ and what God has done for you.  God’s love is the anchor you have to hold on to when trouble comes, and the strength you need to endure any hardships.  His love gives joy in the morning, a reason for living, and perfect peace when you lay down at night.  God is so good that He not only saved us from the sea of eternal separation from Him, but also gave us clear direction on how to find Him.  Our goal for others should be like God’s goal for us, let them know how much God loves them.  Tell them what God has done for us, and what He will do for them.  Let them know where we are going when this life is over and tell them how to get there.  Man cannot see God physically, and although He can be seen through nature, the universe and creation, the clearest way to see God is through us.  He left us here for a reason and that reason is to show others the way that will lead to eternal life.  God wants you to succeed in all that you do.  He has created you with a divine purpose and gives you clear guidance through his word.  He has given all of us all of the resources we need to lead others to Him.  Why? Why? Why does He do all of this for us?  It’s because He loves us so very much.  “Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.”  2 Timothy 4:8

Heavenly Father, let me be, to the best of my limited ability, a reflection of You.  You have called us all ambassadors and as such we must represent You.  Let us always remember we work for You and may we affect all those who are in our area of influence in a positive way.  There is no getting around it Lord, You left us on earth for a reason, may we be the road map the world needs to get to You.

No You…. No Road Map!
