Word 4 Today April 4, 2011

We were all born with a natural attraction to God.  Born with wide-eyed wonder and total amazement to everything around us. We came into this world with a sense of being well.  We did not worry about the issues of life, we just lived confident and sure we would be taken care of.  This should be a good illustration for all that are spirit guided; we should carry this attitude out in our daily lives.  Live with wide-eyed wonder and amazement.  Live with the fundamental belief in the goodness of God.  Be anxious for nothing; be confident and sure that our heavenly Father has all things under control.  Has He or has He not promised to provide each one of our needs?  Stay in communion with Him and you will find strength, and comfort, and calm.  “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ “for after all these things the Gentiles seek.  For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.”  Matthew 6:31-32

Lord, today may I stay attracted to You.  I know that I am only limited in life by my decision to do things my own way.  May I totally trust, faithfully depend on, and completely rely on You only, confident that You are more than able to meet each and everyone of my needs.  In Jesus’ name I pray – Amen

Our natural attraction to God is an attraction to a better life.
