Word 4 Today January 22, 2011

The good you do each day lives on, long after the trouble and distress has gone and difficulty and pain have passed away.  You can take everything that happens to you mistakes, losses, and suffering, and use them for someone else’s good.  You can use your experiences to help some unfortunate soul who is faced with the same troubles as you have been through.  By that, good can come from your suffering and you can make the world a better place because of what you have gone through and shared.  Never be ashamed to share your failures, trouble, and distress with others.  Therefore my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58

Lord thanks for giving our work value.  Thank you for allowing us to go through trials so that we may have compassion for others.  We know You are behind the trials, but we also know You empower us to go through them by Your Spirit.  Thank you for blessing us incredibly for faithful service.

There is never room for pride.  The good you do comes from the failures you’ve suffered.
