Word 4 Today November 27, 2010

We all know people who try to suck the life out of us.  We can certainly try to understand and help those people in anyway possible, but it’s important for our own mental and spiritual health that we don’t become like that.  We can’t fix everybody’s problems but we can help most.  Start at home by being helpful.  Encourage your wife and your children, your neighbors and friends, then as you go out into the community you will learn to be a blessing to everyone you come into contact with. “Give and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom.  For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”  Luke 6:38

I need power today to do things right and be helpful and encouraging and loving.  Lord, I know that it can only happen if I let Your Spirit lead and guide me every step of the way.  May I understand, I can’t help everyone, some people just don’t want it, but those that accept my help, I am willing to give it.

Blessings go in and out the same door.
